What you'll learn

  • What counts towards your daily goal
  • How streaks are counted
  • How to change your goal and reminder emails

Little and often is the secret to remembering what you study. Your daily goal and streak help you build that habit.

How it works

  • Your daily goal is a number of questions to answer each day. It starts at 10.
  • Every question you answer counts: in your own quizzes, timed exams, challenges, class assignments and Review.
  • Meet your goal and that day counts towards your streak. Meet it again tomorrow and your streak grows by one.
  • Miss a whole day and your streak starts again from zero. Your longest streak is always saved.
  • Days run on South African time (SAST), from midnight to midnight.

Change your daily goal

  1. Open Settings.

It's at the bottom of the sidebar.

  2. Go to Preferences.

You'll find your daily goal here.

  3. Pick a goal that suits you.

Choose anything from 1 to 200 questions a day and save. Start small β€” you can always raise it later.

Streak reminder emails

If you studied yesterday but haven't met today's goal yet, we'll send you a friendly email at around 18:00 to remind you before your streak breaks.

  1. Open Settings β†’ Preferences.

Find the streak reminder emails option.

  2. Turn it on or off.

Reminders are on by default. Switch them off any time if you'd rather not get them.

Tip: Short on time? Open Review and answer a few due questions. It's the quickest way to hit your goal β€” and it's the most useful study you can do.
